The IRP4 is a fantastically efficient way to heat a large workshop or warehouse. If you have an area with a high ceiling, needing a powerful heating unit, this is a great option for you. Each unit will heat around 25 square metres of space, and the cost per square metre of heating capacity is far lower than other industrial heating options.
When it comes to heating a warehouse or workshop, efficiency gains mean big money savings. That is where an industrial infrared heater like the IRP4 comes in. This beast of a heater is 2,600 watts and will heat an area of around 25 to 30 square meters. Hung from a ceiling with an optimum height of 3.5 to 4m, this heater is only for larger space heating requirements, and will not be suitable for domestic use or areas with restricted ceiling heights.
The Advantage IRP4 industrial heater has 4 high-emission ceramic elements, mounted in a unit with high reflectivity to direct the heat towards the area you need it. At its optimum height, it will gently warm those below directly without heating the air in between. The unit will not glow while in use, and will reach an optimum operating temperature within just 10 minutes.
The Herschel IRP4 must be located in a position to allow for proper and efficient use. That means at the recommended height of 3.5m (it must not be mounted any lower), hung a minimum of 125mm from the ceiling, and at least 1.5m from the nearest wall. The unit is designed to be mounted or suspended from a ceiling. The heating elements are at a fixed downward angle to ensure the maximum heat arc from this installation height.
